The work of the polish inventor, Lucjan Lagiewka, has totally redefined the science of kinematics as we know it.

Among many different achievements, he has created an active bumper that transforms the kinetic energy at the time of impact and thereby saves the vehicle and it's passengers. When it was first displayed publicly in 1998, the driver hit a fixed blocking object in more than 60 km/h, without wearing a seatbelt. Neither the car or the driver were damaged.

This invention has been awarded numerous prestigious awards around the world.
